We now have probably our biggest ever player pool to pick from "When everyone is available which is a rarity "
The selection committee have a generally thankless task.
1. Picking the Sides
2. Trying to keep everybody happy !
3. Getting the balance right for each side.
4. Ringing round , chasing after you all.
This year has been a particularly fraught for the selection committee for a number of reasons , so we are asking our playing members to be more proactive in advising Captains of their availability in advance, this will make the selection committees life a lot easier.
Also selected players should also take a responsible attitude to advising their relevant Captain that they cannot play after all , letting the Captain know late Friday evening or Saturday morning is not an acceptable option .
Also please bare in mind that if we have a close decision to make on two or more players we will always give preference to those that attend practice , have paid their annual subs , or contribute off the field.
